ImPACTS is a multi-centered, simulation-based education and QI program with an over-arching goal to enhance
preparedness of all hospitals, and provide high-quality
pediatric emergency training to all health care practitioners caring for ill and injured children.
Desired Outcomes:
- To assess Pediatric Readiness of the Emergency Department (ED).
- To improve provider knowledge and comfort in the care of critically ill pediatric patients.
- To develop an action plan for improvement in ED pediatric readiness.
