All physician teachers constantly engage in giving and receiving feedback. It is one of the most important things we do in helping learners, as well as a powerful way for us to grow as teachers. This activity will facilitate a workshop designed to help us all get a bit better at these vital faculty skills.
Desired Outcomes:
- Describe the value feedback through the lens of learning trajectories
- Describe the difference between formative and summative feedback.
- Recognize the ARTful and BEST frameworks for giving feedback.
- Ask for feedback (they actually want)
